We begin Day 1 with "The Food We Want Conversation" with Rafael Mariano of Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas and Anakpawis, and Sarojeni Rengam of Pesticide Action Network Asia Pacific.
We will then look back at the resolutions we have produced in the eight sectoral workshops we have conducted. Afterwards, we hear from policymakers who support our goal towards a genuinely Filipino food system.

We continue with the Bungkalan-Kumustahan and hear directly from our food security frontliners - peasants engaged in collective land cultivation.
We end the opening day with the Bayaning Ginugutom, Bayaning Magsasaka cultural program led by Sinagbayan.
Day 2 on August 31 is then filled with the launching of best practices videos from our various participating organizations.
KMP will also launch the first in its Crop Line Series which will talk about the conditions and plight of small coconut farmers.
